Job Requirements
- A Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
- A basic nursing qualification (Diploma or Degree) accredited by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- Current registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse (2026).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical nursing care in line with professional standards and facility guidelines.
- Maintain high-quality nursing care by following National Core Standards and the Ideal Hospital framework.
- Communicate effectively with patients, supervisors, and other medical professionals.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to ensure patients receive the best care.
- Work professionally and respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Plan and organize nursing tasks for yourself and support staff.
- Advocate for patient needs and follow “Batho Pele” principles to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Efficiently manage the resources allocated to your unit.
