Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide clinical nursing services and ensure high standards of patient care. Duties include:
- Providing clinical nursing care in line with official nursing standards and the scope of practice.
- Implementing quality care initiatives, including National Core Standards and the Ideal Hospital Realization Framework.
- Communicating clearly and effectively with patients, supervisors, and other medical staff.
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- Planning and organizing daily tasks for yourself and support staff.
- Advocating for patient needs and following “Batho-Pele” principles (putting people first).
- Managing the resources and equipment allocated to your unit efficiently.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- A Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
- A basic nursing qualification (Diploma or Degree in General Nursing) accredited by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
