Job Requirements
- A Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
- A Diploma or Degree in General Nursing accredited by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical nursing care according to the official scope of practice and nursing standards.
- Promote and maintain high-quality nursing care within the health facility.
- Help implement National Core Standards and the Ideal Hospital Realization Framework.
- Communicate effectively with patients, supervisors, and other medical staff.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure patients receive the best treatment.
- Plan and organize nursing activities for yourself and support personnel.
- Advocate for patient needs and uphold the Batho Pele principles (putting people first).
- Manage the resources and equipment allocated to your unit efficiently.
