Minimum Requirements
- A Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
- A basic qualification accredited by the South African Nursing Council (SANC), such as a Diploma or Degree in General Nursing.
- Current registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse (2024/2025).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical nursing care in line with professional standards and the facility’s guidelines.
- Ensure high-quality patient care and help implement National Core Standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, supervisors, and other healthcare team members.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide integrated healthcare.
- Maintain a professional and respectful attitude toward patients and colleagues from all backgrounds.
- Plan and organize your workload and supervise support staff to ensure proper patient care.
- Promote patient advocacy and adhere to Batho-Pele principles (putting people first).
- Manage the resources allocated to your unit efficiently.
