Provincial Graphic Design Assistant – Western Cape

The Role

In this position, you will be responsible for creating high-quality marketing materials for both print and digital platforms. Your work will help communicate our message effectively across the province.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design print materials, including leaflets, flyers, newsletters, posters, and newspaper layouts.
• Create engaging digital graphics specifically for social media platforms.
• Maintain an organized archive of all design projects and assets.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Education: A university degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in Graphic Design.
• Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience in a graphic design role.
• Software Skills: High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Technical Skills: Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and communication tools like Zoom.
• Knowledge: A solid understanding of current design trends and industry best practices.
