Position Overview
Role: Psychologist/Trauma Counsellor Intern
Reference: HRD INT 11/2025/26
Location: Graaff-Reinet, Eastern Cape
Employment Type: Contract (Internship)
Minimum Requirements
- An Honours degree or B Psych degree in Psychology.
- Current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Registered Counsellor or Psychometrist for the 2025/2026 financial year.
- Must be a South African citizen.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and facilitate mental health programmes.
- Provide professional counselling services to SAPS members and their immediate families.
- Assist in the implementation and support of employee wellness initiatives.
