Role Summary
We are looking for a Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant to join our team at the Kidd’s Beach branch. In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional pharmaceutical care and managing daily dispensary administration. You will ensure that all tasks are performed according to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high standards of customer service and patient care.
- Manage stock efficiently, including the repacking of medicine and administrative tasks.
- Handle dispensary administration accurately.
- Assist with the accurate compounding of medications.
- Offer general health advice to customers.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and ensure merchandise is displayed correctly.
- Complete additional tasks as required by the operations team.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric with Mathematics (Essential).
- Registration as a Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong product knowledge of health aisle and Over-the-Counter (OTC) items.
- Clear understanding of SAPC regulations and relevant pharmacy laws.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- High level of integrity and ethical work practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.
- Proficiency in computer systems and MS Office.
