Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant to join our team at Clicks Meadow Point. In this role, you will provide professional pharmaceutical care within your scope of practice. You will be responsible for daily dispensary administration and ensuring all tasks follow the company’s Standard Operating Plans (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high standards of customer service and patient care.
  • Manage stock efficiently, including administration and the repacking of medicine.
  • Handle dispensary administration accurately.
  • Perform accurate compounding of medications.
  • Offer general health advice to customers.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display within the pharmacy.
  • Complete additional tasks as required by operational needs.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics (Essential).
  • Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) as a Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of Over-the-Counter (OTC) products and health aisle merchandise.
  • Familiarity with SAPC regulations and relevant legal requirements.
  • A customer-focused approach with a friendly attitude.
  • The ability to work well within a team.
  • High level of integrity and ethical work practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and pharmacy operating systems.
