Role Purpose
We are looking for a dedicated Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant to join our Saxby branch. In this role, you will provide high-quality pharmaceutical care and manage daily dispensary administration in line with company standards and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and patient care.
- Manage stock efficiently, including administration and the repacking of medicine.
- Handle dispensary administrative tasks accurately.
- Perform accurate compounding of medications.
- Provide general health advice and product information to customers.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and professional merchandise displays.
- Support the pharmacy team with daily operational requirements.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics is essential.
- Must be registered as a Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of OTC (Over the Counter) and health products.
- Understanding of SAPC regulations and relevant pharmacy laws.
- Professionalism, integrity, and ethical working practices.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and pharmacy operating systems.
- Basic mathematical calculation skills.
