Introduction
Clicks Group is a leading retail-led healthcare company with over 840 stores across southern Africa. We are looking for a dedicated Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide professional pharmaceutical care and manage daily dispensary administration in line with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high standards of customer service and patient care.
- Manage stock control efficiently, including the administrative tasks and the repacking of medicine.
- Handle dispensary administration accurately and professionally.
- Perform accurate compounding of medications.
- Provide general health advice to customers.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display within the pharmacy.
- Assist with additional operational requirements as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric with Mathematics (Essential).
- Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) as a Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of Over-the-Counter (OTC) and health products.
- Understanding of SAPC regulations and pharmacy law.
- Proficiency in MS Office and pharmacy operating systems.
- Strong basic calculation skills.
- A customer-focused approach and the ability to work well in a team.
- High level of integrity and ethical practice.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
