Quantity Surveyor Graduate Internship

Lycopodium Africa is offering a 12-month internship program designed to develop talented Quantity Surveying graduates. This program provides practical, hands-on experience within a professional engineering environment. You will have the opportunity to build your technical skills and gain exposure to real-world projects in the mining and mineral processing industry.

What You Will Gain

Key Responsibilities

Working under the guidance of experienced professionals, your tasks will include:

  • Assisting with engineering and technical support for mining projects.
  • Supporting the preparation of project documentation, reports, and data analysis.
  • Participating in project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities.
  • Assisting with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance.
  • Attending project meetings, site visits, and technical reviews.
  • Collaborating with teams across engineering, procurement, and construction.
  • Performing general administrative and operational support as needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • A recently completed degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • South African citizenship.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn in a professional environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (experience with industry-specific software is a plus).
