About the Role
RCL FOODS is looking for a Maintenance General Worker to join our Baking Division in Centurion. The role reports to the Utilities Foreman and involves a range of general maintenance and support tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain work areas.
- Assist skilled workers and supervisors as needed.
- Load and unload materials.
- Operate simple machinery and tools.
- Follow safety procedures at all times.
- Perform general labour tasks assigned by supervisors.
- Work overtime or on weekends when required.
- Work outdoors or in harsh conditions, including at heights.
Minimum Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in manual labour, warehousing, construction, maintenance, or a similar environment.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, carrying, and standing for long periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, and self‑motivated.
- Honest and trustworthy.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Positive attitude.
- Driver’s licence is an advantage.
