About the Role
We are looking for a friendly and organized Receptionist to welcome visitors, answer phone calls, and provide general administrative support at our Cape Town office.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer, screen, and direct telephone calls
- Take and relay messages accurately
- Provide information to callers and visitors
- Greet visitors and direct them to the correct department
- Handle public and customer queries efficiently
- Maintain awareness of staff movements and visitor access
- Support general office administration and clerical tasks
- Prepare correspondence and documents as needed
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries
- Monitor and maintain office equipment
- Control inventory for the reception area
- Keep the reception area tidy and welcoming
Qualifications & Skills
- Grade 12 / Matric – essential
- Qualification in office administration or a related field – highly preferred
- At least two years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong attention to detail and data capture accuracy
- Ability to manage customer expectations and deliver quality service under pressure
- Time‑management skills and a keen sense of organization
- Computer literacy (Excel, Word, e‑mail); SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Team player with a proactive, energetic attitude
