Job Summary

Gain hands‑on experience in all areas of supply chain. Complete projects as directed by each functional leader and support roles across the supply chain. Develop a practical understanding of Safripol’s supply chain, identify gaps, and help implement solutions where possible.

Minimum Requirements

  • Supply Chain Management degree
  • CPIM designation
  • Motivated self‑starter
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical abilities and initiative
  • High level of computer literacy

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan raw materials and production (HDPE & PP)
  • Calculate production figures and confirm production orders in SAP
  • Record production data and report utility usage
  • Process raw and packaging material receipts in SAP
  • Conduct stock counts and reconcile raw material usage
  • Manage raw materials in rebate and bond stores per SARS requirements
  • Control flow of raw material tankers
  • Purchase raw materials and ensure supplier quality (COA)
  • Maintain inventory levels of raw materials and packaging
  • Prepare raw material forecasts
  • Handle export processes for finished products
  • Balance supply and demand
  • Support production planning and procurement activities
  • Execute procurement processes and evaluate supplier relationships
  • Prepare RFQs and place orders following procurement policy
  • Ensure master data for procurement is accurate
  • Interact with internal clients (manufacturing, engineering, production, quality)
  • Assist external service providers
  • Manage engineering stores: inventory control, receiving, delivery, storage, issuing
  • Perform cycle counting and data analysis
  • Support MRP processes and expedite purchase requisitions
  • Maintain master data and correct errors
  • Assist with warehousing and logistics, including warehouse and logistics management
  • Analyze data for stock management and balancing
