Sales Assistant – Birkenstock Mall of Africa

We are currently looking for a professional and energetic Sales Assistant to join our Birkenstock team at the Mall of Africa in Gauteng.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service and Sales
- Greet every customer promptly and provide excellent service.
- Identify customer needs and use product knowledge to recommend the best footwear.
- Work to meet daily sales targets and secure additional sales.
- Build lasting relationships to turn shoppers into brand fans.
Inventory Management
- Restock footwear and accessories from the storeroom daily.
- Help minimize stock loss by staying alert and following store policies.
- Ensure stock entries in the system are accurate.
- Process new deliveries by checking quantities, tagging, and pricing products.
Daily Operations
- Keep the store clean and organized, including mirrors, floors, and fitting rooms.
- Assist the store manager with opening and closing procedures.
Training and Growth
- Take responsibility for your learning by working with a mentor and attending training sessions.
- Complete monthly progress meetings with your manager to stay eligible for promotions.
Merchandising
- Maintain high standards of stock presentation.
- Assist the team with updating window displays and mannequins every two weeks.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
- At least 6 months of experience in customer service.
- Knowledge of Birkenstock products is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
