Sales Assistant (Contract) – Roodepoort
Ares Holdings is a leading South African company that connects global brands with local consumers. We are looking for an energetic and professional Sales Assistant to join our Hey Dude store in Clearwater Mall on a contract basis.
About the Role
As a Sales Assistant, you will be the face of our brand. You will focus on providing excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, and helping the team reach its sales goals. We value a positive attitude and a commitment to teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet every customer promptly and provide expert product knowledge to help them find exactly what they need.
- Sales: Work toward daily sales targets and look for opportunities to offer additional items to customers.
- Inventory Management: Restock shelves daily, process new stock deliveries, and ensure all products are correctly priced and tagged.
- Store Operations: Help with opening and closing duties and ensure the store remains clean, tidy, and organized at all times.
- Merchandising: Maintain high standards of product presentation and assist with changing window displays and mannequins.
- Training: Proactively participate in training sessions to improve your skills and grow within the company.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service environment.
- Knowledge of Crocs or Hey Dude products is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
