Position Purpose
As a Senior SAP FI/CO Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our Finance department. Your goal is to optimize our SAP systems to meet business objectives. You will provide hands-on support for financial modules, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), while empowering the finance team to use SAP effectively.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure financial solutions are implemented, maintained, and improved over time.
Key Responsibilities
- System Support: Provide expert technical support for SAP FI/CO, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolving issues.
- Business Analysis: Gather and document business requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications for technical teams.
- Project Management: Lead SAP project implementations and upgrades following international best practices and company methodology.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current financial processes and propose innovative, system-driven solutions to improve business efficiency.
- Training and Documentation: Create training materials and user manuals. Conduct training sessions for staff to ensure they are confident using SAP tools.
- Testing and Deployment: Design, configure, and test SAP solutions. Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manage the rollout of new functionalities.
- Data Management: Perform master data uploads and ensure proper authorization controls are in place.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Information Technology. A Post-graduate qualification in IT is a plus.
- Certification: SAP Certification is highly preferred.
- Professional Experience: At least 10 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Leadership: A minimum of 3 years in a managerial position within IT.
- Strategic Skills: Proven experience in strategy development and project/programme management.
