Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• A National Senior Certificate (Matric).
• Completion of a Basic Security Officer’s course.
• Current Grade C registration with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA).
• No previous work experience is required.

Key Knowledge and Skills

The successful candidate should possess the following skills and knowledge:

• Understanding of access control and movement procedures for people and equipment.
• Knowledge of inventory and store control measures.
• Familiarity with prescribed security procedures and legislation, such as the Protection of Information Act and emergency protocols.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to read and write effectively.
