Job Purpose
We are looking for a Senior SAP Functional Consultant to support our business through system analysis, configuration, and implementation. In this role, you will use your technical expertise and business knowledge to integrate SAP technology into our environment. You will provide expert advice and support to ensure our SAP solutions meet business goals and follow best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Process and Technical Tasks:
- Analyze business requirements and configure SAP modules such as Finance, Revenue Management, and Human Resources.
- Provide expert recommendations and reports based on data analysis and industry trends.
- Investigate and solve complex SAP functional problems.
- Create and maintain technical documents, including Functional Specifications and Test Cases for SAP TRM, PSCD, and FICA.
- Perform peer reviews and ensure all work follows the SAP Support lifecycle.
- Plan and manage your own tasks to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Governance and Finance:
- Follow all governance and compliance procedures to manage risks effectively.
- Adhere to company policies to ensure cost-effective operations.
People and Client Management:
- Build strong, productive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding and exceeding client expectations.
- Share knowledge and provide guidance on SAP products and best practices.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet one of the following criteria:
- Option 1: A National Diploma or Advanced Certificate (NQF 6) in Information Technology, Financial Accounting, or a related field, plus at least 5 years of experience in SAP PSCD/FICA/TRM.
- Option 2: A Senior Certificate (NQF 4) plus relevant IT certifications and at least 8 years of experience in SAP PSCD/FICA/TRM.
For both options, at least 2 years of experience must be at a specialist or “knowledge worker” level. Specific experience with SAP FI-CA is required.
