Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Artisan in Instrumentation to join our team in Secunda. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation systems while ensuring all operations align with our business goals and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations & Planning: Execute daily operation plans, monitor performance against targets, and report progress to management.
• Process Management: Monitor business processes to ensure compliance and take corrective action when necessary.
• Technical Tasks: Install, calibrate, and align instrumentation equipment according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose and fix faults in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Testing & Inspection: Conduct technical investigations and routine testing to ensure all systems are functioning correctly and safely.
• Financial Control: Manage unit expenditure within the budget and review financial reports to identify and fix cost issues.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain strict Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) standards and resolve any safety issues immediately.
• Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Professional Development: Participate in training and company initiatives to improve skills and stay aligned with company values.

Job Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) or an equivalent qualification.
• A valid Instrumentation Trade Test Certificate.
• A BTech degree in Instrumentation or a similar technical field.
• A valid driver’s license.
