Job Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and conducting audits related to Predetermined Objectives (PDO) and Performance. You will supervise a team of auditors and ensure that all activities comply with national regulations and professional standards.
Requirements
- A 3-year degree in Auditing, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A professional designation such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CA(SA) (Chartered Accountant), or CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor).
- Registration with a recognized professional audit body.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in PDO and Performance Auditing, including at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
- Proficiency in MS Office. Experience with audit software (like BarnOwl) is an advantage.
- A valid driver’s license.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Plan, lead, and manage audit assignments according to established norms and standards.
- Team Supervision: Monitor and mentor junior auditors, assistants, and trainees assigned to your projects.
- Compliance: Ensure all internal audit activities follow relevant laws, policies, and international standards (IPPF).
- Communication: Clearly report audit outcomes and findings to management in line with city policies.
- Risk Management: Evaluate internal controls, risk management processes, and fraud prevention strategies within the organization.
