The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness is responsible for providing public healthcare services to the people of the Western Cape. We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team as a Senior Personnel Practitioner focusing on Employee Health and Wellness.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • An appropriate three-year National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Social Science, Industrial Psychology, or Public Administration.
  • Relevant experience in Employee Health and Wellness (EHW).
  • A valid driver’s license (Code B/EB).
  • A willingness to travel as required by the job.

We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following skills:

  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email).
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present and facilitate effectively.
  • Knowledge: A solid understanding of the Employee Health and Wellness Framework for the Public Service.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong research, conceptualization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Work Ethic: Ability to work independently, handle a high workload, and remain productive under pressure.
  • Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, creative, assertive, and highly organized.
