Job Overview
The City of Cape Town is seeking a Senior Professional Officer to serve as a Project Officer (ITPO). This role is ideal for a candidate with strong experience in project management and support, who understands the importance of governance and compliance within a municipal environment.
Minimum Requirements
- A relevant three-year tertiary qualification. (A Bachelor’s degree is preferred).
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in a Project Management or Project Support environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications including SAP, CRMS, TTS, and Microsoft Office.
Added Advantages
While not strictly required, the following will be highly beneficial to your application:
- Experience in business improvement, risk management, governance, or compliance.
- Knowledge of MFMA (Municipal Finance Management Act) standards.
- Professional certifications such as King IV, IT, or MFMA.
- A valid driver’s license.
