About the Role

The Senior Specialist for Change Management ensures that organizational projects and initiatives meet their goals by focusing on the people side of change. This includes transitions in business processes, technology, job roles, and company structures. The goal is to drive faster adoption and higher proficiency among employees to ensure the organization sees a clear return on investment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Leadership

  • Act as a strategic partner to guide the organization through complex changes.
  • Develop and implement change strategies that encourage employee buy-in and long-term sustainability.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define a clear vision for change initiatives.
  • Ensure all change management practices align with AGSA policies and labor regulations.
  • Align the people strategy with business goals to improve overall efficiency.

Change Implementation

  • Lead structured change management activities for technology adoptions, restructuring, and process improvements.
  • Assess the organization’s readiness for change and identify potential risks or resistance.
  • Create and manage communication plans, coaching programs, and training sessions.
  • Establish a network of “change champions” across the organization to support peer-to-peer transitions.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of change initiatives using specific metrics and KPIs.

Data and Digital Agility

  • Use data to measure the impact of change and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Leverage technology to streamline collaboration and improve the employee experience during transitions.
  • Adapt to the evolving digital landscape to make informed, data-driven decisions.

Stakeholder and Financial Management

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to secure support for initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with external consultants and service providers.
  • Contribute to budget planning for change initiatives and ensure financial resources are used effectively.
  • Analyze the costs and return on investment (ROI) for various change programs.

Requirements

Education

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Psychology, Change Management, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
  • Certification: Professional certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci or ACMP).
  • Preferred: A Post-graduate qualification (Masters) in a relevant field.

Experience

  • At least 8 years of proven experience in Change Management and Organizational Development within large organizations.
  • Experience in Financial Services, Professional Services, or the Public Sector is highly advantageous.
