Senior Town Planner
Saldanha Bay Municipality is a local municipality situated on the West Coast of South Africa, approximately 140 kilometers north of Cape Town. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Town Planner in the Western Cape.

Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A Grade 12 certificate (Matric).
- An accredited B-degree in Town and Regional Planning.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in town planning.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Computer Literacy).
- A valid Code B driver’s license.
- Strong strategic planning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Overseeing town planning functions and land use management.
- Managing and facilitating the processing of land use applications and appeals.
- Supervising and managing subordinates within the department.
- Handling Municipal Human Settlement projects.
- Addressing land use planning issues and by-law contraventions.
- Providing administrative assistance and general support to the planning office.
