Role Overview

We are looking for a Shop Assistant / Cashier to join our team at the Woodlands Hills branch. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring every customer has a positive shopping experience. Your main focus will be providing excellent service at the checkout, handling payments accurately, and keeping the store well-merchandised.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all point-of-sale (POS) activities quickly and efficiently.
• Scan items accurately and process payments securely.
• Promote the Clicks Clubcard program and help customers sign up for rewards.
• Inform customers about current promotions and special offers.
• Provide friendly, professional, and helpful service to every shopper.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and stocked according to visual standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products and services to assist customers.

Requirements

Education:

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification is essential.
• Having at least 50% in both Mathematics and English at the Grade 12 level is preferred.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing environment is an advantage.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic mathematical and computer literacy.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle pressure.
• A friendly personality with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions.
