Role Purpose

The main goal of this position is to provide excellent customer service, manage point-of-sale (POS) activities efficiently, and ensure the store is well-merchandised to create a positive shopping experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle point-of-sale transactions quickly and accurately.
  • Scan merchandise and process payments securely.
  • Promote the Clicks ClubCard program and sign up new members.
  • Inform customers about current promotions and special deals.
  • Provide friendly and professional service as a brand ambassador.
  • Stock shelves and ensure the store is clean and organized according to company standards.
  • Stay updated on product information and store events to assist customers effectively.

Requirements and Skills

  • Education: Grade 12 (Matric) is essential. A minimum of 50% in Math and English is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role is an advantage.
  • Skills: Basic math and computer literacy.
  • Communication: Strong verbal communication and a focus on customer service.
  • Personal Attributes: Ability to solve problems, follow instructions, and work well under pressure.
