Role Purpose
The main goal of this position is to provide excellent customer service. You will handle point-of-sale (POS) transactions, assist with merchandising, and ensure the store is well-maintained to provide a positive shopping experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer transactions at the till quickly and accurately.
• Scan merchandise and process payments securely.
• Promote the Clicks Clubcard program and help new customers sign up.
• Inform customers about current promotions and special deals.
• Provide friendly and professional service as a brand ambassador.
• Keep shelves stocked and ensure the store is clean and organized.
• Stay updated on product information, store events, and loyalty rewards.

Requirements

Education:

• Essential: Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
• Preferred: At least 50% in Mathematics and English at the Grade 12 level.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role is an advantage but not required.

Skills and Knowledge

• Basic math and calculation skills.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to solve problems and work well under pressure.
• Good organizational and planning skills.
• An understanding of stock management and merchandising.
