Role Overview

Clicks Group is looking for a friendly and motivated Shop Assistant / Cashier to join our team. Your main goal is to provide excellent customer service by handling checkout tasks efficiently and keeping our store well-organized.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all checkout and point-of-sale (POS) activities quickly and accurately.
• Scan merchandise and process payments, including Clicks Clubcard rewards.
• Ensure cash is handled safely at all times.
• Promote the Clicks Clubcard and help customers sign up for the program.
• Inform customers about current sales and promotions to help them save money.
• Act as a brand ambassador by offering professional and friendly service.
• Restock shelves and maintain a clean, organized shopping environment.
• Stay up to date with product knowledge and store events to assist customers effectively.

Requirements

• Education: You must have a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate. A score of 50% or higher in Math and English is preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in a retail store or a customer-facing role is an advantage.
• Knowledge: Basic math skills and an understanding of how retail stores and stock management work.
