Job Opportunity: Shop Assistant / Cashier
Location: Jane Furse, Limpopo
Job Type: Full-Time
Clicks Group is a leading retail-led healthcare and beauty group with over 840 stores across southern Africa. We are looking for a motivated Shop Assistant / Cashier to join our team at Clicks Jane Furse. The primary goal of this role is to provide excellent customer service, manage point-of-sale (POS) activities, and ensure the store is well-merchandised to create a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions at the point of sale accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash securely and ensure all items are scanned correctly.
- Promote the Clicks ClubCard program and assist customers with loyalty enrollments.
- Keep customers informed about current promotions and special offers.
- Act as a brand ambassador by providing friendly, professional service.
- Assist with merchandising, stock management, and maintaining a clean, organized store.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and store events to provide accurate information to shoppers.
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric) qualification is essential. (Preferably with at least 50% in Mathematics and English).
- Experience: Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role is an advantage.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of retail principles, stock management, and customer service excellence.
