About the Role
Clicks Group is a leading retail healthcare provider in Southern Africa. We are looking for a friendly and motivated Shop Assistant Cashier to join our team at the Nkomo Village store. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, helping customers have a great shopping experience while ensuring the store runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Provide a professional and friendly service to every customer who enters the store.
- Point of Sale: Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Loyalty Program: Promote the Clicks Clubcard and help new customers sign up to enjoy rewards and savings.
- Sales & Promotions: Inform customers about current deals and promotions to help them “feel good and pay less.”
- Merchandising: Keep shelves stocked, organized, and clean according to store standards.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on our products and services to provide accurate information to shoppers.
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric) is essential.
- Skills: Basic math skills, computer literacy, and the ability to communicate clearly.
- Experience: Previous experience in a retail store or a customer-facing role is an advantage but not required.
- Qualities: You should be organized, good at solving problems, and able to work well under pressure.
