About the Role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Shop Assistant / Cashier to join our team at Clicks Seshego Circle. The role involves handling sales transactions, managing cash, promoting our clubcard, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Process sales accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
• Handle cash securely and reconcile daily totals.
• Promote and enroll new members into the Clicks clubcard.
• Inform customers about current promotions and offers.
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards.
• Support the team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets.
• Keep up-to-date with product knowledge, promotions, and events.

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Basic maths and numeracy.
• Understanding of retail/FMCG operations and merchandising.
• Knowledge of stock management procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Planning, organising, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and computer literacy.

Experience

Essential: Grade 12. Desirable: Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level.
