Role Overview

We are looking for friendly and motivated Shop Assistants and Cashiers to join our team at the Clicks East Rand Mall branch. In this role, you will be the face of our store, ensuring every customer has a positive shopping experience through excellent service, efficient point-of-sale operations, and neat merchandising.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Act as a brand ambassador by welcoming customers and providing professional, friendly assistance.
• Point of Sale: Efficiently handle cash and card payments, scan merchandise accurately, and process ClubCard rewards.
• Promotions: Inform customers about current deals and promotions to help them “feel good and pay less.”
• Loyalty Program: Actively encourage customers to join the Clicks ClubCard program to meet store targets.
• Store Maintenance: Keep shelves well-stocked and ensure the store is clean and organized according to visual standards.
• Stock Management: Help manage stock and stay updated on product knowledge and upcoming events.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• A completed Grade 12 (Matric) qualification is essential.
• Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing environment is an advantage.
• Strong basic math skills (50% or higher in Grade 12 Math and English is preferred).

Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to work well under pressure and follow instructions carefully.
