Job Overview
Pepkor Speciality is looking for a motivated and fashion-conscious Shop Assistant to join our team at the Galleria store. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring every customer enjoys a great shopping experience. Your goal is to provide excellent service, maintain a beautiful store environment, and help us reach our sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Provide high-quality service by greeting customers and helping them find the right products.
- Sales & Transactions: Process purchases through the till accurately and suggest additional items to increase sales.
- Stock Management: Ensure the sales floor is fully stocked with new and replenished merchandise.
- Visual Merchandising: Maintain store displays and ensure all items are correctly ticketed and priced.
- Store Upkeep: Keep the shop clean, organized, and follow all health and safety regulations.
- Loss Prevention: Stay alert and follow procedures to minimize stock loss and protect store equipment.
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a retail or similar customer-facing environment.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and good communication skills.
- Availability: Ability to work retail hours and manage time effectively.
