Job Overview

SAPS is looking for a qualified Social Work graduate to join our team in Mthatha for an internship program. This role focuses on supporting the well-being of our employees through professional social work services.

Requirements

To be eligible for this internship, you must meet the following criteria:

  • A BA degree in Social Work (NQF level 6 or higher).
  • Current registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) for the 2025/2026 period.
  • Proficiency in computer programs, specifically MS Word and MS PowerPoint.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide professional social work services within an occupational (workplace) environment.
  • Offer support and interventions to help improve and maintain employee well-being.
  • Assist with preventative and capacity-building programs.
