About the Role
The Quality Control / Laboratory Analyst will carry out Quality Control, Quality Management System (QMS) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) tasks. You will also help develop skills within the department, supporting our commitment to ISO 9001 compliance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Investigate customer complaints and non‑conformances.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Maintain sample registers and stability records.
- Inspect factory and warehouse areas and report findings.
- Control quality documentation in line with ISO 9001.
- Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated and compliant.
- Prepare, standardise and manage reagents and consumables.
- Maintain laboratory housekeeping, safety and GLP standards.
- Review, verify and approve laboratory test results.
- Quality Control
- Test raw materials, in‑process materials and finished products.
- Prioritise analyses and ensure timely release of materials.
- Approve releases of raw materials and finished products.
- Handle rejected materials, quarantine and rework trials.
- Perform non‑routine analysis such as effluent and process water testing.
- Calculate batch adjustments and advise on them.
- Investigate and report out‑of‑specification results.
