Position Overview

We are seeking a Specialist in Governance and Compliance to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to ensure our Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes follow established legal and professional frameworks. You will work to minimize organizational risk, conduct training on control frameworks, and improve the efficiency of our procurement and contract management cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Governance Implementation: Assist in creating and applying strategies that ensure the organization follows all relevant laws. You will update SCM policies and manage risk controls to protect the business.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Perform compliance reviews on tender documents and contracts. You will provide guidance to staff to ensure risk management is built into daily activities.
• Audit & Reporting: Support internal and external audit processes. You will help coordinate ISO certification preparations and work to resolve any audit findings to improve SCM operations.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships across departments to improve SCM processes. You will provide expert advice on compliance laws and help develop performance metrics.

Requirements

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Law, or Risk Management is required.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, compliance, risk management, or auditing.
• Skills: Strong auditing skills specifically within a Supply Chain environment are highly preferred.
