Job Overview
- Position: State Accountant: Asset and Inventory Management
- Location: Sekhukhune District – Lebowakgomo, Limpopo
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Registering all departmental assets accurately.
- Maintaining and updating the official Asset Register.
- Ensuring inventory lists are kept up to date.
- Managing the disposal process for obsolete or redundant assets.
Requirements
- An undergraduate qualification at NQF level 6 or equivalent, recognized by SAQA.
- A qualification in Financial Management is highly preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in asset management or a related financial field.
- A valid driver’s license (this requirement may be waived for individuals with disabilities).

- Strong understanding of the PFMA and legislative frameworks governing the Public Service.
- Proficiency in financial reporting procedures and computer literacy.
