Role Overview

We are looking for a Store Admin Manager for our Vryheid branch. In this role, you will help manage store administration, implement company policies, and ensure the branch operates profitably by following standard operating procedures.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
  • At least 3 years of retail experience in receiving, front shop operations, customer service, and HR administration.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing a team of approximately 8 people.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Willingness to work retail hours.
  • South African citizenship with a clear credit and criminal record.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Diploma or Degree in Finance, Retail, or Business Management.
  • Experience using SAP retail systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in daily operations and trading routines.
  • Manage goods in transit and monitor store shrinkage to minimize losses.
  • Oversee human resource processes, including performance management and staff documentation.
  • Manage the workforce management system (KRONOS).
  • Control store cash resources, daily takings, and internal financial controls.
  • Supervise cashier productivity and service levels.
  • Manage the receiving department, including incoming stock and outgoing returns.
  • Assist with store budget preparation and maintenance.

Essential Skills

  • Strong understanding of retail administration and till operations.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Basic financial skills, including understanding GP, mark-ups, and VAT.
  • Ability to interact professionally with suppliers, staff, and management.
  • Strong time management and analytical skills.
