About the Role

Sasol is looking for a dedicated Team Assistant to provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to our Technical & Engineering senior management team. In this role, you will be a vital part of the department, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Manage daily office operations and provide direct support to the management team.
  • Diary & Meeting Management: Coordinate calendars, schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and record accurate minutes.
  • Document Control: Prepare professional reports, presentations, and submissions. Ensure all documents are error-free and meet company branding standards.
  • Travel & Events: Organize local and international travel, accommodation, and coordinate both in-house and external corporate events.
  • Office Management: Monitor office supplies, manage inventory, and handle IT or maintenance requests for the team.
  • Financial Administration: Handle procurement tasks, including loading Purchase Requisitions (PRs), processing invoices, and managing Purchase Orders (POs) within SAP.
  • Communication: Act as a point of contact for inquiries, manage departmental correspondence, and maintain an organized filing system.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who meet one of the following educational and experience criteria:

  • Option 1: National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) with 3 to 6 years of relevant administrative experience.
  • Option 2: A B.Tech or a 3-4 year University Degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience with SAP (specifically for purchasing and invoices) is highly beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
