Our main functions include collecting and administering all national taxes, duties, and levies.
Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing allocated estate debt management cases. You will ensure all tasks are completed within specific turnaround times while strictly following relevant policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet one of the following criteria:
- Option 1: A Higher Certificate (NQF 5) and at least 3 years of experience in an Estates End-to-End environment.
- Option 2: A Senior Certificate (NQF 4) and at least 4 years of experience in a Branch Office or similar environment, specifically dealing with estate-related queries.
Key Responsibilities
Process Management
- Review and interpret Liquidation and Distribution accounts to assess tax liabilities accurately.
- Capture client information correctly to help reduce the estate debt book.
- Resolve debt management cases within set timeframes.
- Identify and solve queries promptly, following guidelines and escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and third parties.
Governance and Compliance
- Ensure all work meets legislative requirements and internal policies.
- Monitor risks and report any discrepancies or violations of procedure.
- Adhere to financial standards to prevent wasteful or unauthorized expenditure.
Client Service
- Provide excellent service to build trust and positive relationships with clients.
- Ensure all service delivery is consistent, seamless, and error-free.
Personal Development
- Take ownership of your performance and seek feedback for growth.
- Keep up to date with new knowledge and industry trends through formal and informal learning.
