Job Description
As a Control & Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving essential plant systems. Your primary focus will be ensuring technical reliability and supporting the development of the technical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize assigned technical systems.
- Verify the procurement of correct components, spares, and services.
- Implement plant modifications to improve overall reliability.
- Advise and assist with staff training and development.
- Supervise technical projects and contract activities.
- Ensure full compliance with the “permit to work” safety system.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- National Diploma or National N Diploma in a Technical field.
Experience:
- Proven experience in a maintenance environment.
- Completion of P1 and P2 Experiential Training.
Skills and Competencies
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with National and International Engineering Codes, safety policies, Quality Control, and HV/LV Regulations.
- Professionalism: High levels of integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
- Leadership: Ability to work in a team, coach, mentor, and motivate others.
- Practical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, diagnostic skills, computer literacy, and clear communication.
