Trainee Occupational Health and Safety Compliance Internship
Tswelopele Local Municipality is offering internship opportunities to unemployed youth who are interested in gaining practical workplace experience. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team for a 6-month training period in the following areas:
- Climate Change
- Occupational Health and Safety Compliance
- Waste Management
Job Details
- Job Type: Internship (Contract)
- Duration: 6 Months
- Location: Free State
- Target Group: Unemployed youth aged 18 to 35 years
Requirements
To be considered for this internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a resident of Tswelopele Local Municipality.
- Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields:
- Environmental Management or Environmental Science
- Environmental Economics
- Biodiversity or Wetland Sciences
- Chemical Engineering
- Maritime Studies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong self-discipline and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
Selected candidates will undergo intensive training designed to provide workplace experience and professional development within the municipality’s environmental and safety departments.
