Tswelopele Local Municipality is offering internship opportunities to unemployed youth who are interested in gaining practical workplace experience. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team for a 6-month training period in the following areas:

Climate Change
Occupational Health and Safety Compliance
Waste Management

Job Details

Job Type: Internship (Contract)
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Free State
Target Group: Unemployed youth aged 18 to 35 years

Requirements

To be considered for this internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Must be a resident of Tswelopele Local Municipality.
Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields:
- Environmental Management or Environmental Science
- Environmental Economics
- Biodiversity or Wetland Sciences
- Chemical Engineering
- Maritime Studies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong self-discipline and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Selected candidates will undergo intensive training designed to provide workplace experience and professional development within the municipality’s environmental and safety departments.
