About the Role
As a Trainee Yard Official, you will participate in a structured training program. This program includes both classroom learning and practical, hands-on experience. Your goal is to successfully complete all modules and earn your certification as a Yard Official.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend and complete all theoretical training sessions within the set timeframes.
- Participate in practical training to learn how to manage yard operations.
- Develop the skills needed to operate equipment and perform yard tasks safely.
- Follow all safety guidelines and work toward the company’s goals and vision.
- Maintain an organized portfolio of evidence to track your training progress and experience.
Requirements
- A minimum of Grade 12 (Matric).
- Ability to pass a psychological screening test.
- Ability to pass a medical examination, specifically for vision and hearing.
- Must be physically fit to handle the demands of the job.
- A commitment to completing both the theoretical and practical training modules.
