Job Summary
We are looking for a professional Ultra-Heavy Motor Vehicle Driver to join our team in Krugersdorp, Gauteng. This is a full-time position requiring a safety-conscious individual with extensive experience in handling heavy loads.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or Senior Certificate.
- Valid Code EC driver’s license with a valid PrDP (DGP).
- At least 3 years of experience driving Ultra-Heavy Vehicles.
- Must be 25 years of age or older.
- Strong verbal and numerical literacy skills.
- Knowledge of defensive driving techniques and vehicle components.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Clean criminal record and a safe driving history.
Key Responsibilities
- Vehicle Operation: Prepare and safely operate ultra-heavy vehicles for transport trips.
- Load Management: Oversee the loading and offloading process, ensuring all loads are properly secured and not exceeding weight limits.
- Documentation: Handle all required transport paperwork and report any vehicle defects or emergencies immediately.
- Safety & Maintenance: Conduct vehicle inspections, maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle and PPE, and strictly follow all safety procedures (SOPs).
- Professionalism: Provide excellent service when dealing with customers and follow all instructions from supervisors.
- Compliance: Successfully complete medical evaluations, practical driving tests, and company induction training.
