Job Opportunity: UV Assistant

Novus Holdings is a leading commercial printing and manufacturing operation in South Africa. We are currently seeking a motivated UV Assistant to join our Press department at our Montague Gardens branch in Cape Town.

Position Overview

The UV Assistant will support the production team by ensuring all materials are ready for operation and assisting with the daily running of the machinery. This role reports directly to the Shift Leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the correct materials are prepared and available for every job.
• Manage and maintain the stock of necessary consumables.
• Replenish machine solvents as needed.
• Assist in the operation of UV machinery.
• Provide support on the Reelstand and Stacker based on operational needs.
• Maintain a clean workspace and strictly follow health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Education: Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment.
• Advantageous: Previous experience in a similar role or experience handling and preparing paper reels.
