About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to support our parts warehouse operations. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring safety and efficiency in all warehouse activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving / Inbound: Verify goods against documentation, record discrepancies, and bin parts according to system allocations.
- Outbound: Process customer orders, pick, pack, and dispatch parts accurately, and update the system after authorization.
- Credit Notes: Check, sign off, and file credit notes, ensuring correct procedures are followed.
- Perpetual Stock Counts: Conduct daily counts, investigate discrepancies, and authorize adjustments.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse neat, store parts correctly, collect waste, and secure the perimeter.
- Exchange Parts: Receive and store customer parts, prepare supplier returns, and label core parts for return to PDC.
- Health & Safety: Follow all Volvo safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Diploma in Warehouse Management or at least three years of warehousing experience.
