Role Overview

As a Wellness Assistant, your primary goal is to provide exceptional service to our customers. You will offer professional advice on healthcare, nutrition, and supplements to help customers make informed choices, drive sales, and build long-term loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver proactive customer service by identifying and meeting customer needs regarding health and supplements.
  • Consult with customers to provide suitable advice on healthcare and nutritional products.
  • Meet sales targets by promoting a wide range of brands through cross-selling and upselling.
  • Manage stock in the healthcare aisles, ensuring products are available and correctly displayed.
  • Maintain high standards of store hygiene and cleanliness to create a welcoming shopping environment.
  • Ensure stock rotation to prevent wastage and follow risk management policies to prevent stock loss.
  • Assist with product merchandising according to company guidelines.
  • Support the team by sharing product knowledge and keeping up to date with new developments.

Requirements

Education:

  • Matric certificate (with at least 50% in English and 50% in Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy).
  • A qualification in sports, fitness, or nutrition is highly desirable.

Experience:

  • At least 1 year of related retail experience.
  • Previous experience working with sports nutrition and vitamin-related products.
  • Proven experience in sales and customer service.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Basic knowledge of fitness and supplement products.
  • Understanding of retail operations, including stock management and merchandising.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer literacy.
