Role Purpose

As a Wellness Assistant, your main goal is to provide exceptional service. You will offer professional advice on healthcare, nutrition, and supplements to help customers make informed choices. By sharing your knowledge, you will help drive sales and build lasting relationships with our shoppers.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Be visible on the shop floor to assist customers and provide expert advice on health products and supplements.
• Sales Growth: Reach sales targets by recommending the right products and promoting a wide range of health brands.
• Stock Management: Ensure health aisles are well-stocked and follow correct procedures for stock rotation to prevent waste.
• Loss Prevention: Follow company policies to prevent stock loss and maintain a safe shopping environment.
• Store Standards: Keep your work area clean, organized, and hygienic to create a pleasant shopping experience.
• Merchandising: Arrange products according to company guidelines to make them attractive and easy for customers to find.
• Teamwork: Stay updated on product knowledge and share information with colleagues to ensure consistent service.

Requirements

• Education: A Matric certificate (Grade 12) with at least 50% in English and 50% in Mathematics or Maths Literacy.
• Experience: At least 1 year of related experience in retail or healthcare.
• Product Knowledge: Experience working with sports nutrition, vitamins, and health supplements is essential.
• Skills: Strong communication, selling, and customer service skills. Basic computer literacy is an advantage.
• Desirable: A qualification in sports, fitness, or nutrition is highly preferred.
