Role Overview
We are looking for motivated individuals to join our Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Trainee Programme. This 24-month contract is specifically designed for recently qualified Diesel Mechanics who hold a Red Seal certificate. The programme provides practical, hands-on experience and mentorship in a real-world environment to help you build a successful career in the engineering industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they stay in good condition.
- Document all work performed and provide regular reports to supervisors.
Requirements
- Qualification: A valid Diesel Mechanic Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal).
- Recent Graduate: You must have completed your trade test within the last 4 years.
- Experience: Less than 1 year of work experience in this field.
- Age: Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Education: A Matric certificate is required.
